Choose references for a reason
Before copying a reference to v0, name the job it should do. One image might define the hero composition, another the density of product UI, and a third the texture of the brand system.

Ask v0 to carry forward relationships rather than surface decoration: a narrow measure with oversized display type, product imagery that breaks the grid, or a deliberately low-contrast control layer.
